Server permissions

Post by adiekitachi »

Hi....

How do I configure Serendipity to allow read and write access to self and also read and write access to apache group ownership so myself and my team can have full developmet privileges to the architecture on our ftp server.

I have spoken with out web hosts and they infom me that I will need to configure Serendipity before they can reconfigure the server.

Thanks guys!

Hi!

Please ask your server provider about that, it is unrelated to Serendipity.
File and directory privileges are only covered by the web hoster and your FTP server.

Serendipity does not need to be configured, it justs runs as the CGI or Apache user thatis setup on the server.
