New August 8th Full Release - Installer does not load

Hello.

I downloaded the newest full install today. Looks like it was released yesterday August 8th, 2007.

I uploaded the files, setup all the permissions and when I browse to /index.php to start the installation, it doesn't load.

I've got the blue bar at the top which says "SERENDIPITY_INSTALLATION". The Title of the page says "SERENDIPITY_ADMIN_SUITE".
AND nothing else loads.

Here is a screenshot of what I get.

I've tried this on IE6 & Firefox2

We have a Linux system with Mysql 5.0.45 and PHP 4.4.7.

What to do?

Hi vivyan, can you upload all the files again and give it another try? Looks like some files are missing, incomplete, or cannot be read. This sometimes happens when you upload your files via FTP ...

Hello.

I've re-uploaded all the files again. There is no change to the installation.

So I downloaded the files again from this website. It seems my first download this morning was missing some folders and files in the archive.

The new one I just downloaded has more than the original one from this morning.

Ok. so I uploaded the missing files and it's working now.
