Sparticus is showing 5-10 copies of each plug in when it retrieves the list. I don't see anything wrong with the installation. I was running 1.2 alpha and updated to 1.3 alpha but the problem is still there.
Other installations I have don't have this problem. any thoughts on directing me to the solution?
Sparticus shows multiple listings for the same plugin

Hi!
Can you try to empty (NOT delete) the serendipity_pluginlist table and see if the problem then goes away?
Emptying the table makes serendipity rebuild the cache of all available plugins.

Garvin

Hi!
Yes, it's in the database. You can use a SQL query like "DELETE FROM serendipity_pluginlist".

Garvin

I should also point out that serendipity_pluginlist is empty even after I load sparticus. Is this the right point in the database? And it appears to make duplicates of plugins that I have loaded. Ones that that I don't have loaded are not duplicated.

Hi!
Could you make a screenshot of your configure plugins page and of the page where you get the multiple plugins?

Garvin

Hi!
Hm, that is really strange.
Your screenshot of the event plugins is cut in the middle. Which event plugins are listed therE? Is the spartacus plugin maybe installed multiple times?
And about the multiple plugins - do those plugins exist in your "plugins/" subdirectory multiple times? If you are using Frontpage, it is known to upload directory multiples times into different subdirectory structures, and s9y would show that plugin multiple times then maybe.
If you really emptied your serendipity_pluginlist table, it should now get filled again. There really seems to be something wrong on your server, would you be able to give me temporary FTP privileges?

Garvin
