Static Pages Problem

Post by Maccsta »

Hi!

I'm puzzled by the static page pluggin. All of a sudden the links to my static pages won't work. When I click to go to the page all it shows is the main index page again even though the URL has changed to the said static page.

On top of that the "add new static page" is missing from the entries section in the control pannel. Any idea how to fix this, I don't want to lose all my static pages!?

Thanks in advance :)

Hi!

Which URL? Did you maybe change the URL rewriting of your blog? Did you maybe uninstall the static page plugin, or forbid your author from accessing it by changing group memberships or userlevels? If 'Static Pages' is missing frmo your menu, the static page plugin is not really enabled anymore.

You can make your URL change to "/blog/blalalsdlasdlasd.html" and the URL will stay, because s9y uses content redirection.

Garvin

Thanks I got it sorted. I upgraded the static page pluggin and it couldn't write all it's files so I guess that caused the problem. All files written now and it works!

Cheers :)
