i found this bug (i think it is anyway) a while ago, but kept neglecting to report it. basically, if your server time offset is set to negative (ie, you're in the americas), and you publish an article then immediately look at it in the editor, it shows the little clock icon.
the article has actually been published, it shows up just fine on the website. it's just that annoying little clock icon that shows up. it goes away once you pass the UTC/GMT time that's equal to the timestamp box (ie, 5 hours for me).
