Hi!

Where do you get those Sitemap warnings? In your RSS file I can't find any 'sitemap'?

2. Yes, for virtually every RSS-feed the namespaces are not actual schemas but simply URL placeholders. The API does not require valid schema resources, and I think there are none to refer to?

Hi,

I added my blog's RSS feeds as sitemaps to Google Sitemap. That's a warning message in Google Sitemap: http://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps

It would be nice if no any warning message shown up.

Hi!

Uhm, I don't think you can add your RSS feed to google sitemap?!? You should use the google sitemap serendipity plugin to provide a sitemap?

Best regards,
Garvin

There are (at least) 2 different ways to provide sitemap to Google from s9y:

* Use use the google sitemap serendipity plugin, as you said. And, this might be the best way, but there is one disadvantage: whatever you posted in s9y would be submitted to Google, even for those posts that you want to keep in private.

* Submit the RSS feed to Google Sitemap:

The problem is, "this method may not let Google know about all the URLs in your site, since the feed may only provide information on recent URLs."

Anyway, the bug I reported here is not a big problem, just a warning message in Google Sitemap, so don't have to be fixed. Thanks.
