can we alert admin on posts in forum function ?

i have been to other forums that have an alert tab where by clicking it the forum admin will be alerted to check a post for not following site policies.

is this possible because i have seen many posts on this site linking to online gambling sites? just curious if anyone is familiar with this..

I'll check the sites regularly and will delete the postings when I'm online. I think the functionality you talk about can only be activated with a phpBB MOD. But we try to avoid MODs to easier upgrade our phpBB...
