Hi,
after installing it looks different from other installations. Spartacus is missing, and I don't remember in fact of disabling this feature. - How can i enable Spartacus?
The server runs behind a proxy server. I guess, this is the reason for failing output of foreign rss-feed (PEAR.php sucks after long running). - Is there a possibility to run the system fine behind a proxy? Any settings to done?
Thx, Juergen

Hi!
You can install Spartacus through the plugin management interface. There you also need to enable the use of Spartacus for fetching plugins.
To set a proxy for most scenarios, you can use the plugin "Manual Trackback Control" (available via Spartacus, spartacus.s9y.org) and there you can configure if you need/want to use a proxy.

In this proxy case, Spartacus might also not be usable. The server runs behind a proxy server. I guess, this is the reason for failing output of foreign rss-feed (PEAR.php sucks after long running). - Is there a possibility to run the system fine behind a proxy? Any settings to done?

oops, of course, sorry.garvinhicking wrote:You can install Spartacus through the plugin management interface.
So it is, but, it doesn't matter. I can install all plugins manually.garvinhicking wrote:In this proxy case, Spartacus might also not be usable.
Unfortunately these settings have no impact to plugins using PEAR like remoterss!garvinhicking wrote:To set a proxy for most scenarios, you can use the plugin "Manual Trackback Control" (available via Spartacus, spartacus.s9y.org) and there you can configure if you need/want to use a proxy.
The server is located in an intranet, only users from within have access. But we have web access only via a proxy...

Hi!
As a last mean you can simple edit the Request.php file of the bundled-libs directory and insert the proxy variables there...

Have you tried that? I thought it would affect those plugins as well. Which s9y version are you using?Unfortunately these settings have no impact to plugins using PEAR like remoterss!
