Cannot find/Install Poll plugin

I'm running 1.1-beta5 of Serendipity and I want to add a poll to the site. There's no poll plugin listed in the plugins so I went to the Plugins/Templates section on the site and found the "Polls" plugin, but when I unpacked it into my plugins directory and installed it, all that it does is put a single button into the sidebar marked "Go!" which does nothing when you click on it.

What's the go, is this really the poll plugin I should be installing or should I be using some other one and if so, where do I get it ? I would have thought a polls plugin would have been included with the basic set, but there isn't one.

Hi!

You must also install the paired event plugin. Then you can go to your admin backend and manage the polls on a new menu item.

Could you possibly elaborate on this a bit. I downloaded the /cvs/additional_plugins/serendipity_plugin_pollbox.zip file from both the "All Event Plugins" and "All Sidebar Plugins" pages but both are the same file and contain the same files inside the zip.
What is the "paired event plugin" ?

Hi!

Yes, the event and sidebar plugins are paired inside the ZIP file, so that you have both plugins.

On the s9y admin page in the plugin management you need to make sure that you have installed both. The poll plugin must show up once in the sidebar listing and once in the event listing.
