Trying to change the style

I'm having a problem trying to modify the styles on one of my sites. I thought maybe I would solve it by upgrading to the latest version but unfortunately, the same issue.

When I click on styles in the admin menu it takes a long time before it delivers me a blank page.

My sparticus is set to netmirror.org, the templates_c directory is 777

Any suggestions?

Hi!

This sounds like Spartacus doesn't work on your server? Try to remove the spartaucs plugin through "Configure Plugins" (check the box, click on 'delete marked plugins) and try again if you can access the style page.

Thanks Garvin, that was exactly it but very strange because I use the same host for all my sites and serendipity is installed on many of them without issues.

If I download the template I want manually, will it show up in the list without sparticus?

Hi!

Maybe that specific host is configured differently than the others, could that be?

And yes, if you download a template and unzip it to your 'templates' directory, it will show up there without spartacus.
