How to you do Shared libraries?

Shared library. You can use Serendipity as a single installation to serve multiple and independent weblogs, but only maintaining a single codebase.

Never mind, it is not what I had hoped for. It is for virtual hosting and documented in the readme's. I had hoped for more than one blog on one website.
