OK, this is not really a bug, but a illogical behaviour.
Each of my entries has a unique URL, so I can give the link to my friends. But links to pages (like /archives/P8.html) are different: they change, if I add entries to my blog, because P1.html is always the newest page.
Wouldn't it be better to change the order? P1.html should be the page that contains the first entry and grow to pX.html for the newest entries. So all page links would be stable, indexing would be easier for Google, and it would be much easier for the readers to find out how the blog started.
But perhaps there is an easy way to change the page ordering in my konfiguration?

Re: Page order
Hi!
Changing the order would lead to BC problems of the pages.
One reason why google likes Serendipity, is that those Archives pages do change.
Instead of handing our those Pxxx pages, give your visitors the archives/2006/05.html etc. pages, those are static.
