TinyMCE Installation - A confused novice seeking help
TinyMCE Installation - A confused novice seeking help
I would like to use the TinyMCE plug-in with my blog. I've uploaded the plug-in files and have installed the plug-in. I am confused when I get to this point. Where do I get the TinyMCE compressor mentioned in the instructions? Do I download that from the TinyMCE site?

Hi!
The tinymce compressor is also advertised on the TinyMCE homepage:
http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/download.php
-->
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/tiny ... z?download

Garvin

Garvin,
I am doing something wrong. I've got my test blog hosted at GoDaddy.
In the configure plugin screen my relative path is default set at:
home/content/s/j/b/sjbennett/html/serendipity/plugins/serendipity_event_tinymce/tinymce/
I unzipped the compressor files and then uploaded the contents of the tinymce compressor files
(tiny_mce_gzip.js and tiny_mce_gzip.php) to
/serendipity/plugins/serendipity_event_tinymce/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce
In the configure plugin screen I did not add any path to the Additional TinyMCE plugins box.
I have double checked that I enabled the WYSIWYG option in the settings. When I test a new entry or a static page, there is no WYSIWYG feature. Can you clue me in as to what I'm doing incorrectly?
Thank you.

Hi!
In the relative path you need to enter the relative HTTP path.
Something like
/serendipity/plugins/...
please check this forum for tinymce, I've often described how one must configure it.
HTH,
Garvin
