I hosed my site

I was looking at the path settings in the admin panel. The path for Serendipity is at the root of my site so the setting was simply "/".

A feline accident has either deleted that setting or changed it to something else. Is there a file I can edit and upload the corrected version?

Hi!

Usually you should be able to login to serendipity_admin.php still, and be able to change path settings there.

If that doesn'T work for you, you can access the database (usnig phpmyadmin?) and look at the 'serendipity_config' DB table.

Neither of those worked. The databases seem to be intact. I am still getting the 500 Error.

Now I'm nervous. Is there any other way to fix the problem?

Ah! In that case it might be your ".htaccess" file contains a wrong directory, check that file as well.

I uploaded a copy I had made. I wouldn't have known what specifics to look for.
