Having different # of entries on frontpage & categories

Is there a way to display a different # of entries on frontpage and categories??

What I'm wanting to do is this...
On my frontpage, I would like to display 3 entries (with posts displayed in its entirety). Then for my Categories (because I have posts displayed by Title within each category), I want to display 10 - 15 entries.

Does this make sense?? I just wasn't sure if this was possible to do, so I thought I'd ask. :)

Yes. Install the plugin "Extended properties for categories" (from spartacus) and then you can change the # of entries in the properties of each category.
