Sticky posts -- problem

Hello all -- I don't know what happened with my sticky posts, but now they are not staying static at the top of the pages. They are being sorted by date with the rest of my posts. I've not changed anything to my sticky posts. When I browse through all of my posts, I'll see the sticky posts storted by date with all the other posts --- and serendipity is still showing it as "Sticky Postings". So weird!

Any ideas what happened?? Other than installing a new event plug-in last night, I didn't make any changes to the configuration of my site. So, I'm not sure what happened.

Thanks for your help with this. I'll continue to try to figure this out.

EDIT: In case the new plug-in (comments plug-in) caused the problem, I just deleted it and still no luck. My sticky postings are still not staying static at the top.

Hi!

This can happen if you are using the plugin "Extended properties of categories" together with the "Extended properties of entries" plugin.

In that case you need to make sure that the Categories-plugin comes before the Entries-plugin in your listing of event plugins. Have a look if that's the case.
