Can I stop Static Pages from displaying name at end?

Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to stop the Static Pages plugin from displaying the authors name at the end of the article formatted page? It shows up just above the date.
I want to use the plugin to display bio's and general information pages without showing the author's name at the end because I am using the Headline to announce any names.

Hi!

Yes, you can edit the "plugin_staticpage.tpl" template file and remove any author/ownership information there that you don't want to see. All is temlatable of the staticpage output!

Thank you so much. I have very little experience with coding, but guessed that statement end tags were using the "/" symbol, and just found the most likely author statement and deleted it.
I kept a copy of the original file in a safe location in case I was wrong, and I edited the file using the freeware PSPad that is so much better than Wordpad. PSPad opened the file already seperated by its statements.
I feel good that Serendipity is even relatively easy for an inexperienced person like myself to edit on a deeper level than just the GUI available options.
