Hi, updated from 7 to 8 beta and now get this error, what to do ?
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare serendipity_db_query() (previously declared in /var/www/web96/html/egoist/include/db/mysql.inc.php:24) in /var/www/web96/html/egoist/serendipity_db_mysql.inc.php on line 10

I have just enhanced our Upgrade / 0.8 announcement document to also have a note about this. You need to delete your 'layout.php' file in templates/default/layout.php!
