Sidebar Graphic Help Requested

Hi,

I really am a novice at this and would appreciate a little assistance from anyone who is inclined to offer it.
I would like to display a graphic on the sidebar under everything else that is already there and functional. I would like that graphic to be clickable which would open another browser window taking the viewer to a specific URL. I know the HTML, but don't know what and where to edit in Serendipity to get the result I want. I have no PHP experience, but can figure most things out by careful reading of the code and Google's help.
I'll make the graphic myself which can be a jpg, gif, or just about anything else.

Hi

easiest way to do this would be for you to put the graphic and link in an HTML nugget and position it as the last item in the sidebar.
