Hi,
what could be the reason for comments to articles not being saved?
When I fill out the form and submit, it just reloads the page and my comment is not there. Has anyone got any hints?
Thanks, Matt

Re: Comments don't get saved
1. Which serendipity version are you using?
2. What URL Rewriting are you using? (Serendipity Configuration)
3. What's your Blog URL?
4. Are you using the spamblock plugin? If yes, tell what configuration settings you selected
I've heard a similar report earlier, which seemed to be related to the URL Rewriting, so I would really like to fix the issue - if there is one
Regards,
Garvin

Hi Garvin,
first of all thumbs up for s9y..
That said, I'm still on 0.7.1, just saw you brought the .8 out today..
so maybe i should just upgrade..
URL Rewriting is on Apache Errorhandling, i think that's what the default was.
You can go to www.felix-usa.com and have a look, you even got
your own entry to comment on
.
No, I'm just using Categories Archives and Powered by (of course
) and added comments today to see if it helped (didn't).
Alright tell me if you need something
Matt
edit: i tried changing the url rewriting, now the blog is suddenly down, so maybe check later again i'll try to get it up again

Alright,
somehow changing the errorhandling messed up my entire installation.
I don't know enough to guess how, but .. So i tried upgrading and everything, which i had some trouble with as well so i just deleted it and installed a fresh new .8 and now everything works, including the comments
and im happy
Thanks for your help
