Disable/Remove Comments and Trackback Function

Greetings

I have been getting so much spam these past few months through the comments and trackback function on my blog that even my Domain Host complained. Apart from the spam I rarely get comments to my blog entries so I want to disable or even remove completely the Comments and Trackback Function completely so that spammers no longer have access to journal and my mailbox.

I have used the manual approval methode and that is what has been getting me so much emal as I have to delete every request individually and seeing as they are all spam anyway I want to simply end their ability to post on my blog.

How do I do this?

Is it possible to do this for all my entries on my blog simultaniously, as I have several hundred and do not have the time to go through them one at a time ?

You can follow the advise in the FAQ on www.s9y.org, we have detailed instructions there on how to completely disable comments and trackbacks using various methods.

I'm very sorry for your problems, I'm also peskered by those spammers
