Hey everyone,
I've heard so many good things about serendipity that I had to give it a try. After 5 fresh installs, I still can't get any images to appear (plugin, template, PNG images.) I've hunted all over the forum for specific help.
Here is a an example link:
http://www.onlyinitaly.com/serendipity/ ... g/back.png
I'm on an Ensim 3.5, MySql set up, I've chmod 777 everything, have the correct path to imagemagick but that doesn't work either. I assume it has something to do with paths.
Any help would ne greatly appreciated...
Thanks in advance,
Adriana

Re: After 5 Installs, STILL NO IMAGES
Hi!
Could it simply be that you uploaded the .png files using a FTP client that was set to ASCII mode instead of BINARY? Seems like the file itself is corrupted. The image is not created on-the-fly, so imagemagick is not involved at all...
At least this image seems to be uploaded properly:

Hmmm...I think you're right
Wow! Thanks for the lightining quick response.
I just noticed that I had the AUTO select off on my FTP which means all my files were uploaded in ASCII.
Damn! I can't believe I forgot to check this! I've gotten so involved with heavy scripts that sometimes I forget the stupidest and simplest things.
Thanks again Garvin!
