Hi guys,
I just installed version 1.1.2. Installation seems to work fine in the first place, but then I find that newly installed plugins don't show up. E.g. I installed the Adsense plugin and the nospam_surbl plugin, but they don't show up in the plugin manager. All I get is the original set of 5 event plugins and 11 sidebar plugins.
Directory permissions seem ok and I get no errors in the apache logs. I assume I do something wrong; can you tell me how to proceed or how to switch on some kind of debugging?
Thanks
Martin

Re: No plugins with 1.1.2?
Hi!
How did you install those plugins exactly? Through "Configure Plugins" > "Click here to install an event/sidebar plugin"? Did you get an error or confirmation page after selecting the pluginy ou want to install?
Regards,
Garvin

First I downloaded the plugins as .zip-Files, extracted them in the plugins directory and adjusted permissions and ownership as for the original plugins in the directory.
When I select "Configure Plugins" -> "Click here to install" these plugins simply don't show up.
It seems to me, as if the "plugins/" directory is completely ignored.

Solved!
Hello guys,
I guess I found a mistake of mine, sorry for the confusion. When I installed the system I adopted the file permissions from my debian etch installation, which gives to templates_c, uploads and archives 735 permissions; the apache user is not allowed to read the directories.
I gave read access to templates_c and it seems to work now.
Sorry for the confusion and thanks for quick replies!
