remove trackbacks display ?

Hi,

I want to display the number of trackbacks, but do not want to display teh trackback links on the individual entry pages.

Can I do that and if yes, How can i do that that ?

You can set the 'enable popups' directive in Serendipity Configuration, then the trackback links will not be shown in the individual entry pages.

Or with Serendipity 0.8 you can just edit your entries.tpl Templatefile and suit your needs.

I am using 0.8 only

However when i go to edit an entry i get teh following two options ....

1. Allow comments to this entry
2. Comments & trackbacks to this entry requires moderation

I have ticked teh first one. But i i don't want to enable the second one as i don't think comments require moderation.

How do i go about doing it ?

Uhm - I told you to go to the Serendipity Configuration and not the Entry creation screen.

The trackback behavior has nothing to do with those two options.

In configuration, change the "popup" parameter.
