Hello, I've been using Serendipity for a couple years, but just recently installed the Categories Plugin (It may have been there when I first set up Serendipity, but I think I removed it).
Whenever I click on one of the categories, I get a page not found error. It looks like the caregory pages were never created for some reason. I checked my settings and paths, and they seem OK.
What's also strange is that at one point my Login link on the main page stopped working. It looked like it was pointing to an incorrect location, so I just manually changed it. I'm also getting Page Not Found errors when I'm in the Admin Utility and I click back to Authoring Suite, etc. I'm not sure if these issues are related. I upgraded a few months ago, but I think the problems started before that.
I'd really appreciate any assistance anyone could offer. The address is www.loobis.com/words.

Re: Problems with Categories - Page Not Found
Hi!
Does a 'categories' path exist on your website? If so, you need to remove it. This directory should only "virtually" exist, and if it physically exists it will make Serendipity's "pretty URLs" fail.
Those 'not found' errors usually mean that there's a problem with Serendipity 'URL Rewriting' method. Did you maybe change your .htaccess file? That file contains instructions that Serendipity needs to properly display content. You can rebuild it, if you go to your Serendipity control configuration panel and change "URL Rewriting" first to "None" and then save, and then switch it back to "Apache Errorhandling" or what you had previously.
If after changing it still does not work you might need to set URL Rewriting to 'None' and keep it that way to see all pages...
