Hiya how are you all, iv just been looking at my website stats and i was looking at how people are coming to my website and i have found that these links almost 1000!! of them have been clicked my so many times

blog/comment.php?type=trackback&entry_id=564

with every link the the ID number is varying, i just dont know what all this is, and when i click on the link i get this message

1 Danger Will Robinson, trackback failed.

can someone please shed some light on this

Hi!

This URL is used by spammers who try to comment to your blog. It's an API service that is called which is called "Trackbacks" (look up Wikipedia or the s9y FAQ for details).

That URL is only meant to be used from specific software, not via your browser - that's why you get this message.

should i be worried about this? because i have found now google is index these pages some how, because if i type in my blog url on google i get quite a few of this message

"1 Danger Will Robinson, trackback failed.!"

my blog isnt in any security risk is there? by these spammers?

Hi!

The comment.php link is used with a "rel=nofollow" in all s9y default themes since a year or so. Which version of s9y are you using? This setting will make sure that google does not index the pages.

Usually not, they just abuse your bandwidth.
