Trackbacking Worpress blogs doesn't work...

Hi,

there is something i don't understand.
If i write an entry in to my blog and try to set a trackback to an other blog which is based upon wordpress i get the message "No trackback uri".
It seems wordpress blog entries have trackback uris of the following pattern: http://somewhere/blog/article/trackback/

I tried trackbacking blogs based upon other software, here it works fine, it's only with wordpress blogs...

Does anyone have the same problem?

Hi!

The Tracbacks need the RDF metainformation from WordPress which some WP sites do not mention.

Please read http://www.s9y.org/48.html for solution (which is to use the 'manual trackback' plugin). You can also try to tell the WordPRess people that their template is not allowing trackbacks properly.
