Extra post read warning

Post by Masselink »

I would like an extra warning before reading the full post when the content might be shocking or explicit or whatever when the article is put in a certain category. is there a plugin/event that does that for me ?

Hi!

Why not put that warning inside your body of those offending entries?

You could also create a custom property field, using the plugin "Extended properties for entries"...

Best regards,

We also have a split-body approach. When you're editing the entry, you'll see a "Entry Body" section where you can add the entry that will be immediately seen. But below it, there's a + box (if JavaScript is enabled) or an entry box labeled "Extended Body".

Although templates can override this behavior, the Extended Body is not displayed until the user clicks a link to read more. So you could include your "Explicit Content" warning in the Entry Body, then put the shocking content in the Extended Body. Nobody would have to click unexpectedly.
