Static Pages - Partial Markup Transformation?

Post by Don Chambers »

I had this thought - is it possible, or could it be possible in the future, to have some portions of a static page where markup transformations ARE performed, and some portions are NOT? I can generally achieve whatever look I am after without Markup, but there are times where a portion of a page would be simpler, want emoticons, etc, but I cannot allow markup because it borks other required HTML.

Just a random thought.....

Hi!

That would require major parsing overhead and would make every markup plugin 2-3 times slower. So, I don't expect this to happen, honestly. :)

Best regards,

That's what I get for thinking! :D I thought it might be a problem or someone else would have already made it work.

;) Hehe.

And I was so proud that you could at least now disable certain markup plugins per-entry. Making it per-block would really waste grandma's performance pennies :)
