A .css file is not responsible, but a .inc.php file can be responsible, yes!

Ok thanks. The problem is i still dont get how you can see if the file is BOM or not. If i open the source of my site, i cant seem the find ï»¿ anywhere.

Hi!

You must edit/view the file in a HEX editor that is capable of displaying those characters!

I use wget to get your URL and then use the linux "joe" editor which is capable of displaying the characters.

Hi,

Well i finally solved the issue. It turned out that the problem was caused by the Serendipity lang_dutch file. I edited that file some time ago and apparently something went wrong there. So i just downloaded the original file from Sourceforge and edited it with Notepad+. Now everything works fine. Many thanks for noticing that it was a BOM problem.
