Heya =)
I've decided to make a Sidebar Plugin for YouTube over the YouTube-API.
The first Part is now done: You can display the last X videos you've uploaded onto your account.
Ive done this over the API and with SimpleXML (okay, those who dont have PHP5 can't use it... but at the moment, most of the providers have PHP5).
I've now thinked about mor Plugins of this kind, such as showing a random favourite video of your account or showing videos that are the result of a Tag-Search.
Of course I can put the all together and let the user decide wich one should be activated, but with this method you allways just can have one feauture on your sidebar, so i think it is beter to do a own Plugin for each function.
Agree with me? Questions? Improvments?

Re: YouTube Plugin (over the YT API)
Hi!
Great work, looking forward to the results!
I would suggest to make the sidebar plugin stackable and offer a radio-selection which feature to activate.
Then you can install as many variations as you like from the single plugin, each with a different configuration. Much like the HTML-Nugget plugin!
