my about page returns me to my frontpage

my about page returns me to my frontpage, but they contain different text, however, I cannot get the other text to appear.

As a first step towards a solution: How did you "generate" your about page? Did you use the Static Pages plugin? Is it good old handcrafted HTML? Could you supply an URL so people can take a look at it themselves?
