Well, if you intend to not use that theme, of course we can discard finding the root of this problem. Your call, I thought you wanted to know what the issue is.

But don't I need to just put my default theme back to that theme first? And if it causes a problem again, it must be in the theme?

As far as I remember RSS was working under latest beta version and the theme didn't change.

Hi hgoor!

If you just rename/remove that config.inc.php file, then set the one-truy-layout theme as default, then check the RSS feed and it works, I know where the error must lie.

If the RSS feed still does not work, there must the some other error I need to investigate.

After you found out if the RSS feed works with the change, you can switch to the other theme back again.

Right well, renaming that file renders the whole s9y inoperable so I can't even set the theme...

So that doesn't work. I only get errors:

Hi!

You renamed the wrong file

You should rename the /templates/one_true_layout/config.inc.php file to /templates/one_true_layout/config.inc.php.old.

I didn't say anything about *serendipity*_config.inc.php - but I can understand it might have sounded confusing, sorry for that.

FYI:
There is one unnecessary space at the end of config.inc.php (just behind ?>), removing it fixes the problem.

You are a saviour. I didn't found this space on first look, but you are right, it is there.

I removed it in CVS!

hgoor, if you remove it in your file (just delete the whole "?>" line) you should be able to get it working, too.
