XML listing on new Install

Post by Taffman »

I have just installed Serendipity (first time user).
Installation went ok.

Logged in and made a few config changes.

Subsiquent attempts to access the site results in a XML listing when index.php is accessed.

Mozilla browser reports that the XML file does not have a CSS?

I have deleted and reinstalled all (except the database) but i get the same error.

Any ideas:

Below is snippet of what I see:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
- <serendipity>
<head_charset>UTF-8</head_charset>
<head_version>1.1</head_version>
<head_title />
<head_subtitle />
<head_link_stylesheet>http://www.mysite.com/index.php?/serend ... stylesheet>
<is_xhtml>1</is_xhtml>
<use_popups />
<is_embedded />
<is_raw_mode />
<is_logged_in />
<entry_id />
<is_single_entry />
<blogTitle>

... etc

Hi!

It seems you activated the "Experimantel Default XML Engine" theme.

Relogin to the admin and use the Style MAnager to activate the "Serendipity 3.0" default theme. :)

Best regards,
Garvin
