Attachment when making a new entry

Hello!!

Since now, our interest was sending mails to the blog, and with it, there is the possibility to attach a file....great!!
But now, I'm working with the blog directly with the Serendipity Administration Suite, and I've noted that if I want to make an entry, I don't know how to put a file attached to this entry.....
Is there any solution to have attachments related to the entries?

What exacty do you want to "attach" to the entry? Images? You can use the media manager for that.

When I am talking about attachments, I want to mean, all kind of attachments: files with extensions .doc, .pdf, .ppt, ....
Must I can use also the Media Library and then in the New Entry do a link to this file using "Insert Web Link" button?
Or is there another way?

If you use the Media Library links to add the picture/sound/file, then you can edit a new entry and use the "Media" button to choose the file from the media library and insert it into the entry.

Photos will be displayed as expected. Other stuff will be displayed as a link that users can click to download.

Hi!

You can also upload .ppts and other files like you upload images. They are then also added to the media manager where you can include a link via the Entry creation, yes.
