Customize sticky posting only

Is there a way to customize the display of the Sticky postings such a having a different background color so that they stand out a little more from the rest of the content?

Yes, you can edit the entries.tpl template and search for "Sticky" there. Then you can put any HTML code you like there.

Asking a dumb question - how exactly do you make a sticky post ? I don't see any options to flag an entry to be sticky. I'm using 0.7.1.

Sticky posts are only available in 0.8 + via the "extended properties for entries" plugin. The plugin will not work in 0.7.x

Hi there,

I'm using 0.8 and have Spartacus as well. Have looked everyone now, including the CVS and still can't seem to find this plug-in

Can somebody please point me in the right direction?

OK, probably was too tired last night to find the plug-in. It's in the event plugs that come with the latest version.
