minor, br tag appears and disappears.

I noticed I had typed my entire post in the top window. I decided to cut and paste all but the first two paragraphs into the "extended text" window.

I used ctrl-X to cut and ctrl-v to paste while in wysiwyg mode. When I switch both windows to html mode I see at the end of the second paragraph an ending br tag with the slash.

Selecting a preview shows extra space between the second and third paragraphs but now the ending br tag is gone. It also disappears when I save the entry.

I'm pretty sure people don't usually ask questions in a bug report.

If you say it's normal then I'll go with the flow but it seemed odd to put in a line break and then take it out. -Jeff

Hi!

The problem is that the bundled WYSIWYG editor puts in that extra space. But s9y figures its obsolete, so it removes that upon saving. Sometimes the WYSIWYG only puts a "<br />" into the entry, which would then show up as extended body, so we strip all trailing breaks...
