Spell Check

Post by soychick »

Hi,

I'm new here and trying to find a plug in for spell checking. Can someone tell me which one I should try...and give me any directions needed for properly configuring it? Thank you!

Hi soychick,

For spellcheck I use firefox 2.0 which has a decent spell check built into the browser. For Internet Explorer the google toolbar has the same functionality. For a more powerful solution you can use google docs, which is a word processor in your browser. I've used this a few times to write up posts and then copy and paste them over to my blog.

http://mozilla.com -- firefox
http://toolbar.google.com -- google toolbar
http://docs.google.com -- google docs

If I remember correctly they are working on a plugin to do this, but I have not seen it as of yet.
