URL Rewriting

Post by dogshed »

"URL Rewriting
Select which rules you wish to use when generating URLs. Enabling rewrite rules will make pretty URLs for your blog and make it better indexable for spiders like google. The webserver needs to support either mod_rewrite or "AllowOverride All" for your serendipity dir. The default setting is auto-detected"

I don't see an auto detected in the drop down. -Jeff

Hi!

The currently selected value is the auto-detected one. :-)

Best regards,

Serendipity is auto-detecting the appropriate value for "URL Rewriting Method" when it performs its installation. When you go to your Admin screen and click Configuration, you can find the currently-set value, which is the autodetected value.

If Serendipity guessed wrong, or you want something different, you can change it.
