Changing the author only
Changing the author only
I decided to create 2 users for me, one as admin and another one with limited rights, like it is common with Linux. Since I started as admin I liked to change the user of the comments. This didn't work mosttimes, but once as _admin_. I tried to change the comment a little bit too, but at the end, there was the original author again, although I got a notice, that the comment was changed. I don't care much about this issue, but I liked to tell you about this problem.

Hi!
This might depend on the plugins you are using and the s9y version. Plugins like the 'user self-registration' plugin offer identity-theft prevention that will always fill in the original user into a commentform. And serendipity versions below 1.1 AFAIR do not properly assign the comment owner when editing a comment...
