1.0.2 & 1.0.4 blank, 1.1b6 not ok

Everything seems to work fine now

Well, after so many tries and so much time spent for nothing, I decided to run the 1.1b6, copy the incorrect entries and correct them manually, 1 by 1. I think I will save time after all.

Mmm, thinking better, there's still two things to solve. First, the sidebar comments plug in is not working properly. Some words are cut, for example:

In the sidebar:
"Joder que coñazo est o de que se joda el asunto... Pero bue no, parec [...]"
Right:
"Joder que coñazo esto de que se joda el asunto... Pero bueno, parece[...]"

Do you know some way to repair this?

And the other one, about the locale, is there any way to use a php or similar to set a specific locale?

Hi!

About the sidebar comment plugin: This one cuts comments after a specific amount of characters, which might truncate words in the middle. This is the only way to ensure wrapping in the sidebar properly, so I'm afraid you can only alter the amount of characters after which to wrap, but this is a general problem that could occur also later.

About the locale: It needs to be installed on the server -. if it is, then PHP+s9y properly use it.

Another one, just got this error:

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Too many connections in /home/vol3/byethost2.com/b2_200142/lonelyplace.byethost2.com/htdocs/include/db/mysql.inc.php on line 263

I have absolutely no idea what this means -apart from too many connections-. Is this a temporary problem? Do I have to fix anything? Will it recover by itself? How do clouds smell?

aarrgg, everything was so fine until the host changed the server...

Edited: it's working again.

Mmmm probably I did not explained well. What I meant is that the plug in uses to cut some words that are not at the end of the character/word limit, but are in the middle or the begining of the 'short phrase'. I put them bold in the former reply.
i.e: it cuts a word, leaves a blank space and finishes that word, instead of writing the word complete.
It did not happen with 1.0.2.

Hi!

About the MySQL Thing: It's a server issue, you'll need to contact your provider to raise the connection limit.

About the plugin: Yes, words can be cut in the middle depending on which HTML characters are later stripped from the output. The stripping is done after the wrapping (to try to preserve some HTML-things) so that's where the spaces can come from
