Categories zapped

Post by ned »

Sorry to keep bugging you, but I keep finding problems.

On the 0.8 upgrade, the category sorter on the sidebar no longer works. The individual entries show the correct category, but they will not sort by category.

Any suggestions?

Can you describe which category sorter you mean? I don't really know what you're refering to...?

Using the category manager from the admin panel enables the user to create categories. Those categories are then displayed in the sidebar of the front page, with an [XML] logo the the left of each heading. Clicking on a particular category heading then displays the user blog postings for only that category.

I have many categories. If I click on one of the headings, I get a page with 0 entries, although I actually have many entries within each category.

Please provide a link to the blog you are having problems with.

If it is the one in the signature, you are using beta software -- please upgrade to the lastest release.

paging also appears to be broken, but everything works fine on my personal blog, URL rewriting turned off.

I tried another style and it seems to work ok. I guess the problem is in my (deprecated) template. I will have to create a new template file for the smarty system.

Thanks
