0.7 and 0.8 on top of one database

Hello,

I want to convert styles and stuff, using the current cvs, ideally with current data. Is it possible to install 0.8 in addition to 0.7 using the same database? Or should I rather copy the database so I have some data to test with?

You can install both versions into the same database, you just need to user different prefixes (serendipity_ and serendipity_ALPHA_ maybe)

So if you mean to let 0.8 and 0.7 use the same tables, that won't work, because the database structure has changed in a few things since 0.8
