Auto Pinging Google

I have installed the announce plugin.
Can I use the Custom ping field to Ping Google's Blog Search? Also..does anyone know what the url for it is?

It should be able to (but I haven't tested it)/

From Google's documentation ( http://www.google.com/help/blogsearch/pinging_API.html ), it looks like you use this url:
http://blogsearch.google.com/ping/RPC2
