Changing CSS to remove strikethrough

Post by thebagman »

I know how to do this, and have, but (this is a really basic, stupid question) can't change or replace the old .css file for my new one...in a theme uploaded using the "manage styles" routine...

because the owner of the directory/file is httpd:httpd and I can't get in!

what can I do?

please be gentle

Hi!

You can have a look at the FAQ on www.s9y.org and see for the "fixperm.php" script. Change that to assign different read privileges on your template directory.

You can also contact your webprovider and ask him to change permissions on the files, if you can'T do that via FTP.

Also have a look at the spartacus plugin configuration. You can change the default owner for downloaded files there (but only for future files)

Best regards,
Garvin

thanks Garvin - of course that works...
I'd even used that script before for a problem with the weather plugin...
You're a hero...
