help required - javascript in new theme

if there's anybody who'd like to help me to implement some javascript that I need to include in a new theme I'm developing I'd be grateful if you'd get in touch.

I have the script but I just don't seem to be able to get it working with Serendipity.

You could paste the code here that you wanted to use...my first through is, did you replace every { with {ldelim} and every } with {rdelim} in your JS code, so that Smarty does not choke on it?
