little bug in usergallery?

Post by tbals »

hi,

maybe i found a little bug in "usergallery"-plugin. my albums are:

Code: Select all

 - public (0)
    |- sc06 (18)
    |- press (1)
    |- demo (6)
three sub-albums (number of pics in brackets) under "public", where is no pic.

when i browse to a sub-album (e.g. press) i see the "next-button" (an arrow), also when there is only one picture in it.
i think the counter counts all pix in any albums and not only in the selected sub-album. so when there are more pix in all folder then the "pix per side" setting, the next button will be enabled.

its only a little bug, but i want to report it here.

regards

Sorry, I've been gone for the last week or so because of a family emergency... I'm back now...

Once I wade through the accumulated bits of my life I will take a look at this.

No worries Judebert... I know you weren't trying to pressure me... You were just covering for me in my absence! :D
Welcome back!
Thanks!

tbals, I can't replicate this with my test install (even after shuffling pictures and stuff).. Can you post what version of Serendipity and which version of the plugin you are running? (There have been quite a few changes to the plugin in preparation for 1.1.)

Also, if you could tell me if you are using "Output images strictly" or not.

Thanks for the bug report!

The easiest way to tell the serendipity version is to look in the admin interface. It should show up at the base of each page.

The setting "Output images strictly" is in the usergallery plugin configuration (fifth from the bottom or so).

hello mgroeninger,

yes, im am using version 1.0.1.

hmm. i cannot find the parameter "Output images strictly" in the usergallery-plugins (serendipity_event_usergallery). there is only:
  • Display name
    Anzahl der Spalten
    Subpage name for gallery view
    Permalink for gallery view
    Choose the gallery style
    Pick a default directory
    RSS-Feed image dimensions
    Show exif tags?
i am using serendipity in german.

What setting are you using for "Choose the gallery style"? Are you using "Media Library"? (Or the german equivalent? :D )
