about the plugin "Discussion forum (Forum)"

after i have install this in my admin site. When i go back to the main page of the website I dont seems to be able to find the link Static URL " forum"

and just to correct me if im wrong over in the Absolute server path to upload directory is it the pathway where I place the serendipity_event_forum is?

You should be able to access the forum like this:

http://yoursite.com/index.php?serendipi ... age]=forum

er i dont think this is the problem. what im saying over in the admin when i click on Discussion forum and wanted to add in a new board. when i click add board the page goes blank. ~_~

That's not good. Blank pages almost always indicate PHP or Apache errors. Could you look at your error logs?

Recently, we had another forum post about blank pages. It was caused by a corrupted upload. You can try re-uploading your forum plugin, just in case.

I too am having issues with this plugin. However it's blank images that I'm getting.
When I click on a topic, the next page loads, and then I see two squares with the little red x in it and then the images "disappear".

They don't really dissapear - they are white or clear images named "blank.gif"
I think the images should be something like "reply.png" or some other image in the plugin's image folder.

Ted, which version of the plugin and Serendipity are you using? Does the configuration have the correct HTTP path (shouldn't include http://domain.com/blog, just the path after the blog, no slash)? For clarification, check the page source. If you copy the image src attribute and replace the index.php?whatever, you should see the buttons and such.
