Plugin Multilingual Entries does not work for me

Post by Harald Weingaertner »

Multilinguale Einträge Installieren
Erlaubt die Erstellung mehrerer Sprachversionen eines Eintrags
Autor: Garvin Hicking, Wesley Hwang-Chung; version: 2.1

Hello,

this plugin does not work for me. I can change the language and add english content to my german blog, but when clicking the link to the other language in the entries footer i get the message

Sorry
No entries to print

Can someone help? If Garvin reads this: You can see this on my private blog (first entry)

Hi!

You should only use that language chooser when you are not logged into your blog. If you are logged in, your language takes precedence over a changed language.

Also the mulitlingual plugin is quite picky when it comes down to the languagechooser plugin and other event plugins like caching...

Best regards,
Garvin

Thanks Garvin,

maybe i explained my issue not well enough.

I have written an english version of an entry and below this entry i have now the chance to select an english version as well (beside the german). But if i click onto that options (english and/or german) i do not see the entry. The link somehow does not seem to work for me.

This happens as guest and as admin.

Regards

Hey!

Ah, now I see. The URL to the entry strangely links to "English.html" or "Default.html". Do you know why that happens?!

I think it'S because you changed your permalinks to not include Entry-IDs. It might now work with this, I think.

Regards,
Garvin
