Off topic a little - sorry :-(

Post by jwc »

Had some free time available today so I thought I would look into creating mail accounts and mailing list in Yahoo mail and Gmail. As far as I can tell, there is no email forwarding of any kind available in the free Yahoo mail account much less a multi-bcc list or group.

Gmail is very impressive in its feature set for free and for a while I thought I could create a mailing list. I found the forwarding feature will only forward to one email address :-( I cannot figure out how to forward incoming mail to a group name. I have played with this for several hours and have gone through Gmail's help and forum and I'm thinking it can't be done.

Even though this has nothing directly to do with S9Y, maybe somebody has some ideas for me.

I'm a little closer to my objective - I have created a group in Google. Maybe this is the best way to get the job done?

Hi!

Sadly I have longer not created a group on my own. 3 or 4 years ago I used "egroups". Maybe you should search the web for "free mailinglist"?

Best regards,
Garvin

The feature you're looking for isn't in Yahoo! mail; it's in Yahoo! Groups.
